Swimming & Why it's Important
Swimming is the sport that requires the use of your limbs to move your body through the water and takes place in pools and/or open water. More importantly, swimming has many health benefits and is a cardiovascular activity. This means that it helps in working the strongest and most important muscle in your body which happens to be your heart. It helps lower your blood pressure and to lower your resting heart rate. The strength of your lungs and heart are improved. It is a great fat burner and helps in losing weight. Overall, swimming is good for your entire body and health.

What I Need to Improve
The hardest part about the swimming that many will encounter is the breathing. I am one of those who have a problem breathing while I am free-styling and it is hard for me to catch my breathe once I have made it to one end of the pool. I will proceed to practice the breathing just by continuing to freestyle because that will strengthen my heart and my lungs allowing them to not work as hard and will allow me to breathe easier and to catch my breathe as well. Also, I need to relax the muscles in my face that will allow me to properly breathe during swimming. These two methods will help make my swimming technique improve in a significant way.
